Lowest CRS score in 2018

A total of 3,900 candidates were invited, bringing the total number of invitations in 2018 to date to 89,800 — surpassing the total of 86,022 invitations issued in the whole of 2017, meaning that 2018 is a record year for the number of invitations issued.

With a minimum CRS score cutoff of 439 points, this marks the lowest CRS score requirement in 2018 (with the exception of program-specific draws for the Federal Skilled Trades program)! In the December 19th draw, IRCC issued a total number of 3,900 invitations, staying consistent with the high number issued in the previous draw.

This draw also means that 2018 has officially exceeded the number of ITAs issued in 2017. This year, a total of 89,800 ITAs have been issued, versus only 86,043 issued in 2017. With a number of Canadian government holidays in the next two weeks, this will likely mark the last draw in 2018.
