“On July 27, 2021: 1,031 Express Entry candidates with work experience in certain occupations were invited to apply for a provincial nomination by Ontario PNP Draw.”
Express Entry candidates with relevant work experience were invited in one of 18 occupations. All candidates invited in the draw had their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 458 and 467.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited these candidates because they may be eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP). This Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) offers foreign workers – the opportunity to make “The Heartland Province” their new home.
Ontario PNP Draw: Targeted occupations
The following are the 18 occupations targeted in the July 27 OINP draw:

| NOC 1122 | Professional occupations in business management consulting |
| NOC 2161 | Mathematicians, statisticians and actuaries |
| NOC 3012 | Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses |
| NOC 3211 | Medical laboratory technologists |
| NOC 3231 | Opticians |
| NOC 3233 | Licensed practical nurses |
The candidates were required to have work experience of at least one year in one of the above occupations to receive an invitation.
OINP selects eligible candidates from the federal Express Entry pool and issues them a Notification of Interest. Those who have received a Notification of Interest may apply for a provincial nomination with the OINP within 45 days. If they are nominated by Ontario, they will have 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System score points added to their total CRS score.This would guarantee them an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in a subsequent Express Entry draw.
