Express Entry Draw #203 | 635 PNP Candidates Selected

Expressway Immigration ― Canada Immigration Express Entry Draw 01st September 2021 ― Canada has invited 635 PNP Candidates in Express Entry draw 203 on September 1, 2021. The Comprehensive Ranking Score cut-off increased to 764 points compared to the previous PNP draw of 751.

This means that candidates needed a CRS score of at least 764 points to receive an invitation from this Express Entry draw.

The cut-off score is higher because IRCC targeted this draw towards candidates having a provincial nomination. Only the candidates from the Provincial Nominee Program were eligible for this round of invitations.

Provincial nominees get 600 additional points in the Express Entry profile.

Previous Express Entry PNP Draw was held on on August 18, 2021 and compared to it, we see an increase in candidates who received an invitation in this Express Entry draw. There were 635 invitees this time around compared to 463 from the previous draw.

The number of invitations via Express Entry Draw this year has reached a milestone of 106,414 out of which the Canadian Experience Class accounts for 92% invitations at 97,653 and Provincial Nominee Program accounts for 8% invitations at 8,761.

Express Entry invitations almost double 2020 levels

IRCC has nearly doubled the number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued year-over-year. So far in 2021, IRCC has sent out 106,414 ITAs. With more invitations comes a higher chance that IRCC will admit its target of 108,500 newcomers through the Express Entry system in 2021.
