On August 8, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Canada Express Entry draw #360, targeting French-speaking candidates. A total of 2,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, with a minimum CRS score of 481. Only candidates who submitted their profiles before 05:16 UTC on July 18, 2025, were considered for this draw under the tie-break rule.

So Far in 2025:

As of 2025, IRCC has issued 53,128 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). While most draws have focused on Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, significant numbers of ITAs have also gone to those in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), French language proficiency category, and priority occupations like healthcare, education, and social services.

French Draws Are Back!

IRCC focusing once again on candidates with French language proficiency. This marks the first French draw since March, ending a nearly five-month pause in French-targeted invitations.

Here’s a recap of the French language draws we have seen in 2025:

  • February 19: 6,500 ITAs issued, CRS cut off 428
  • March 6, 2025: 4,500 ITAs issued, CRS cut off 410
  • March 21, 2025: 7,500 ITAs issued, CRS cut off 379
  • August 8, 2025: 2,500 ITAs issued, CRS cut off 481

Total number of French language ITAs: 21,000
