Express Entry Draw #406 Invites 356 PNP Candidates
On March 30, 2026, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 356 invitations in the Express Entry draw. The minimum CRS score was 802. This draw is program-specific. Only candidates who were nominated under the Provincial Nominee Program are invited.
What is the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?
The Provincial Nominee Program allows Canada’s provinces and territories (except Quebec and Nunavut) to nominate skilled workers who have the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to the local economy.
If you receive a provincial nomination, you get an additional CRS points in the Express Entry system, significantly boosting your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
Express Entry totals in 2026
Since the beginning of 2026, Canada has issued 53,580 ITAs across all Express Entry categories. Out of this total, 2,939 invitations were issued through the Provincial Nominee Program. This confirms that PNP remains a smaller but stable component of the overall selection system.
