The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has updated the in-demand occupations list for its popular Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

SINP Express Entry & Occupations In-Demand

The SINP In-Demand Occupations List applies to the following programs:

  1. Saskatchewan Express Entry: This program requires candidates to have an active Express Entry profile along with at least 12-months of full-time, skilled work experience in one of the province’s in-demand occupations.
  2. Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand: This program does not require candidates to have an active Express Entry profile, but it does require at least 12-months of full-time, skilled work experience in one of the province’s in-demand occupations. This program requires candidates to show proficiency in either English or French at the Canadian Language Benchmark of Level 4.

What is the eligibility for SINP demand Occupation list ?

For to be eligible under this stream, the candidate needs to pay a non-refundable $350 application fees. Candidate can qualify for this sub-category if they live outside of Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, are not a refugee claimant and:

  • Must score 60 points on SINP point assessment grid
  • Minimum CLB level 4 for language proficiency
  • Must complete post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship with a minimum duration of one year. Candidate must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree. In case they are obtained outside of Canada, then the candidate is required to get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated organization
  • Have a minimum one of the following of education or training occupation:
    • One year of work experience in the past 10 years in a skilled occupation (non-trades)
    • Two years of work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years
    • Twelve-month of work experience in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades)
  • Work experience must be in an occupation that is categorized under National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill level 0, A or B and be mentioned in Saskatchewan occupation list.
  • Have proof of funds and settlement plan
  • The candidate may be required to provide proof of professional status or licensure for their field of work
