The 154th draw for Express Entry permanent residence candidates happened on June 25, 2020, and was a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw.
In the June 25, 2020 Express Entry draw for immigration to Canada, 3,508 candidates will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA). This draw was restricted exclusively to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold for this draw was 431 points.
This draw continues IRCC’s trend of issuing invitations only to PNP and CEC candidates. It has now been more than three months since the last all-program draw. A trusted legal source confirmed in conversation with IRCC that Express Entry draws are being limited to PNP and CEC candidates for the time being in response to COVID-19. It is unclear how long these restrictions will remain in place.
