Express Entry Draw #215 | Canada invites 1,070 PNP candidates, a new record
The latest Express Entry Draw #215 took place on February 2nd 2022, which was the 215th Express Entry Draw. This draw was targeted towards the Provincial Nominee Program candidates only. The draw offered 1,070 ITA to those with a cut-off score of 674. This is the first Express Entry draw of February 2022. Canada is inviting thousands of immigrants to apply for Permanent Residency every month.
It has resulted in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points requirement for receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) to decrease as compared to the previous PNP draw on January 19, 2022.
The latest draw is the largest PNP Express Entry draw ever in terms of number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued. It surpasses the previous PNP draw which had been the biggest ever draw. For comparison, the average for PNP draws since the beginning of 2021 was 600 ITAs issued before this one.
The CRS score cut off is low, in fact it’s the second lowest PNP CRS score cut off ever. You have to go back to November 1st, 2017 to find a lower one: 673. The average CRS score cut off for PNP draws since the beginning of 2021 was 739 before this draw.
This latest 2022 Express Entry draw continues into 2022 the 2021 trend of program specific draws that excluded people applying under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program.
