On March 17, 2026, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,000 invitations in the Express Entry draw. The minimum CRS score was 507. This draw is program-specific. Only candidates who were nominated under the Canadian Experience Class are invited.
What is the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)?
The Canadian Experience Class is one of the three main immigration programs under Express Entry. It’s designed for individuals who already have at least 1 year of work experience in Canada and want to transition to permanent residency.

French language proficiency: 14,000 ITAs across 2 draws
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP): 2,583 ITAs across 6 draws
Healthcare and social services occupations: 4,000 ITAs (1 draw)
Physicians with Canadian work experience: 391 ITAs (1 draw)
Senior managers with Canadian work experience: 250 ITAs (1 draw)
This mix of draws reflects a targeted approach to immigration selection, with particular emphasis on candidates who meet specific economic and demographic objectives.
What Happens After Receiving an ITA
Candidates invited in Express Entry Draw #403 now have 60 days to submit a complete permanent residence application. This stage includes:
- Uploading all supporting documentation
- Completing medical examinations
- Providing police clearance certificates
- Paying required government processing fees
