Benefits of being an Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen:

- Sickness Benefits: The Employment Insurance (EI) program offers temporary financial assistance to unemployed workers. This assistance includes providing sickness benefits to citizens incapable to work because of injury, sickness or quarantine.
